Happy Sunday! Hope everyone had a great weekend, I know I did. Lots of quality time spent with good friends. I definitely thought I had done this tag before, but after searching this blog and my old blog, I couldn't find a post with this tag at all. So here is my very first winter tag I suppose! :)
1. Favorite winter nailpolish
I neeeeed to get new winter nailpolishes. I feel like I've been using the same colors for the last few years and feature them in every fall/winter favorites post. Buttttt as of now, Essie Shearling Darling and Essie Bahama Mama are my go-to fall and winter nailpolishes.
2. Favorite winter lip product
This is such a tough question since I have so many favorite winter lippies. This winter, my go to lip product has been the Chanel Rouge Coco Lipstick in Mademoiselle. It's not a particularly "holiday" shade but with all of the parties and fancy events coming up, this has been my go-to because of how fancy it makes me feel.
3. Most worn winter clothing piece
I purchased the Rampage Women's Bram Round Toe Ankle Boot a couple years ago at Macy's Black Friday Sale and they have been my favorite boots ever since. They're so comfortable and look so sleek with any outfit. Not to mention they still look brand new even after I've worn them most fall/winter days these last two years.
4. Most worn winter accessory
I've fallen back in love with wearing scarves in the winter. Most recently, I got a black infinity scarf from Kohl's (now out of stock, unfortunately) that I've been obsessed with. It dresses up any outfit and helps you stay warm on frosty winter days.
5. Favorite winter candle
Bath & Body Works candle in Marshmallow Fireside, hands down! Makes me feel like I'm in a warm, cozy cabin roasting marshmallows :)
6. Favorite winter beverage
Just yesterday I had a marshmallow hot chocolate from Max Brenner's and I fell in loveeeee. Best hot chocolate I've ever had. But unfortunately that's only available in the city so on normal days when I'm feeling festive, I love sipping on a Starbucks Gingerbread Latte.
7. Favorite holiday movie
I love ABC Family's holiday movies! The Holiday is another one of my favorites.
8. Favorite holiday song
Holy crap this is probably the hardest question in the whole list. I love Christmas music, but don't think I really have a favorite song. This year though I've been loving Colbie Caillat's holiday album from 2012, Christmas in the Sand.
9. Favorite holiday decoration this year
I'm so so so excited to write my holiday decor post. I'm not quite completely finished decorating my apartment, but I'm hoping to done by the end of the week. There's so many things to choose from, but I have to say my favorite is this light pink-gold bottle brush Christmas tree I picked up from Michael's for my bedroom. I'm not able to find a link online, but once I have the blog post written I'll definitely link it here :)
10. What are your plans for the holidays this year?
I'm so excited that I have Christmas off this year! I have December 22nd-26th off and I'm going home for the holidays. Keeping up the family tradition, we're staying overnight at the Oglebay lodge just before Christmas on Dec 23rd and 24th, but will be back home in Pittsburgh for actual Christmas day. SO pumped.
#healthyholidays Day 4 : avoided getting greasy Chinese food for dinner!
